Experienced remote and on-site interpreter

I am a London-based conference interpreter and translator, working from English and Polish into German. My profession is more than a day job to me, and I feel energised when I can solve my clients’ communication headaches.

Although I specialise in conference interpreting, I can also help my clients connect with their audiences using the written word (translation). Please get in touch if you require a German translator for your document or a simultaneous interpreter for your event.

Born in Poland, raised in Germany and a long-term UK resident, I understand how to bridge linguistic and cultural gaps. Naturally curious and resourceful, I feel equally comfortable in informal settings and at high-profile events.

Consulting

Clients come to me to help them with the organisation of training, language coaching and events in multilingual settings. I ensure people have all the information they need (in the appropriate languages) in the run-up to the event, during the event, and in the follow-up. I work closely with a team of event professionals, so we ensure delegates have an overwhelmingly positive experience from start to finish.

Katharina translated multiple documents for a conference including presentations, proceedings and biographies over a period of several months. The process was seamless and communication was fantastic, so I always knew where I stood on the project and that deadlines would be met.

The end client was delighted with the result, not just the quality of the translation, but also the care and effort that had gone into reproducing non-editable text.

Katharina will continue to be one of my most reliable and trusted translators.
